4. Quotations and Contracts

4.1 Quotations

All quotations provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quotations are not binding until a formal written contract is signed by both parties.

4.2 Contracts

All construction work is carried out under a written contract which sets out the full scope of works, timescales, and payment terms. These Terms apply in addition to any specific contract terms agreed.

4.3 Variations

Any variations to the agreed scope of works must be confirmed in writing and may affect the contract price and programme.

5. Payment Terms

• Payment terms are specified in each contract; larger projects use stage payments aligned to milestones
• Invoices are due for payment within the period stated on the invoice
• Late payments may incur interest as permitted by the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1998
• We reserve the right to suspend works for non-payment
• All payments must be made in British Pounds (GBP)

6. Cancellation

6.1 Cancellation by Client

Cancellation terms are set out in your specific contract. Early termination may result in costs incurred to date plus a reasonable loss of profit charge.

6.2 Cancellation by A&M Construction

We reserve the right to decline or withdraw from a project where circumstances make it impractical to continue. We will provide reasonable notice and account for all work completed.

7. Liability and Insurance

7.1 Our Liability

We maintain full public liability insurance. Our liability is limited to the contract value unless otherwise required by law.

7.2 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, A&M Construction Stoke Ltd shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
• Loss of profits or business opportunities not directly caused by our negligence
• Force majeure events beyond our reasonable control
